    • Why should I choose SOVAI?
SOVAI makes life easier for online/internet merchant that usually accepts credit cards in an internet or mail order environment but now needs to accept payments in a card present environment (while the customer is in front of you).  More and more merchants are both beginning to attend tradeshows/craft fairs and perform sales on the customer's site.  Before SOVAI this merchant would either need to 1. Use their existing online account on a laptop requiring wireless internet access, 2. They would have to call in the transaction to a live operator then come back later to complete the sale (this process can be time consuming and expensive) or 3. They would need to open a completely different merchant account for mobile transactions.  With SOVAI, you may now keep your existing online account, create a SOVAI account, create multiple logins for order processing (in case you have multiple reps at the same company that would like to accept orders "on the go") and you may track which user processed which sale by viewing our online reports.  If find yourself needing to accept payments in a both an online/internet and mobile, card present environment without paying double the amount, SOVAI is for you!

    • Does SOVAI store my customer's credit card/check information when I place an order?
No, SOVAI does not store credit card numbers, expiration dates, CVV2 or the customer billing address on our servers.  SOVAI complies with Visa/MC rules by storing only the last 4 numbers of the customer's account (credit card or check - depending on the type of online gateway that you've plugged into SOVAI), this last 4 is stored for your reporting purpose only and we do not store any other piece of customer info.
